Smiles

After Mac eats, he is all smiles. Who wouldn't love a full belly, right? Oh how it melts my heart...

He will be 8 weeks old on Wednesday. We are heading down to Dothan tomorrow to spend some time with my parents for a few days. This will be his first trip down there. He made his first road trip to Auburn yesterday and did fantastic! Here we come Jana and Grandaddy! 

New Videos

Mac is 7 weeks old today. It is so interesting and fun to see how he is developing mentally. Now he follows objects with his eyes, coos, grins, etc. This is a video from this morning. I put him on the pack n play to change his diaper, but we paused for a few minutes for him to have fun cooing and grinning. Enjoy.

Great Friends

This weekend Jenna (from Waco) and Whitney (from Atlanta) came to visit The Bevs. We had a fabulous time together as always. Mac kicked off the visit with spitting up on both of our guests within a few hours. They took it well :). We took advantage of Jenna's mom only being 3 hours away (in Dothan) and invited her to join the party. She stayed with us Sunday night and treated us to dinner at Ted's Montana Grill. Bison is good! Jenna, Melissa, and Whitney all took great care of Mac (and me). I hated to see them leave. Here are a few pictures from the weekend...

My Biggin

When Patrick handed Mac to me for the first time, I instinctively said, "Come here Biggin". Well now my boy weighs a whopping 11.6 lbs! He is now a little over 5 weeks old. He had his circumcision at Children's yesterday and they weighed him there. He did very well, considering. And because he weighs so much, he got to have a little extra dose of Tylenol. Yesterday he got it every 4 hours, but today he hasn't required much at all. Well, I'm done blogging for now I guess, he's waking up from his nap...

New Video

Patrick made a fantastic video documenting Mac's birthday. It shows pictures and video clips from the night we were admitted into the hospital, friends and family that came to see us, and the day we went home. It makes me emotional every time I watch it b/c it reminds me of the day my precious baby boy was born. He has been a challenge but also miraculous blessing from our Lord.

1st AU Game

We had a blast on Saturday watching the first Auburn game with family and friends. Of course it was fun getting to dress Mac up in his little Auburn attire. WAR EAGLE!
