- Bouncy seat with toys that can hang over baby (you gotta have somewhere to put the baby when you're not holding him)
- Zip up PJs with footies
- Hanging closet organizer (I love the blue one from Burlington Coat Factory)
- Car seat frame (it's very compact and easy to use)
- Car seat base (fast and easy to just click in car seat)
- Infant head support for car seat
- Pack N Play (if the nursery/changing table is on a different floor of your house)
- Mylicon gas drops
- Infant Tylenol (wait until doc says you can use it)
- Pacifiers placed throughout the house

- Playtex Drop In bottles 4oz and 10oz (you can buy off brand liners that are cheaper)

- Baby Wise book
- Dreft or other hypoallergenic detergent
- It's nice to have little baby wash cloths and towels, but you can just wash your own in the detergent listed above before using them on baby.
- A couple Boppies (You can use them for feeding the baby comfortably or to prop the baby up wherever you are.)
- Video monitor
Favorite diapers:
- Pampers or Huggies
- White Cloud or Parent's Choice
- CVS brand

I hope I don't have to use it as a shopping list anytime this decade, but good post. Listening to more of the experience you've gained will be near the top of my "how to prepare" list one day though!
Good list! I was going to add Baby Wise and then saw you had it on there! That book is the greatest thing EVER!
