6 weeks progress...

The brick is done on the house except for the porch.

The sheet rock is done on the inside and most of the wiring is complete.

They're telling us it will probably be late July when we close!

Bev Beach Trip

These are some pictures from our trip to Orange Beach with Patrick's family. We had such a good time together. Mac had a BLAST in the sun and the sand. Tre and Mac got to hang out a lot and were very sweet boys.  

Trip to Auburn

We went to Auburn this weekend to visit our friends Jim, Deena, and baby Blakely. Patrick, Jim, and Deena were best friends at Auburn and then all of us ended up in Birmingham. Jim got a promotion and the Parrishes moved to Auburn for his job with the university. We miss them dearly and don't get to see them enough. It was so funny to see Mac and Blakely play together. I hope we get to see them again soon! Here are some cute pictures of the babies in their PJs Sunday morning.

Mother's Day

I will celebrate Mother's Day for the rest of my life now. I still have moments that I cannot believe that I am actually someone's mom! I cannot express the feelings I have for my Patrick McCay. He is a gift from my heavenly Father that I cherish more than words can describe. I hope that I can be a mother to Mac like my mom was to me. If you know my mom, you know that those are some high expectations to meet. 

9 month old

Mac is now 9 months old! I cannot even believe it. Here are some facts about him:

Weight: 21.8 lbs (75 percentile)

Height: 30 inches (90th percentile) 

Teeth: 2 on bottom, 1 on top

Eating: Baby food, baby cereal, and bottles. He can now eat some table foods, but we haven't tried it yet!

Crawling: No

Walking: No

Sitting up: Yes

Scooting: Yes

Pulling up: Yes

Babbling: Oh yeah. He calls me Nah Nah and Patrick Dah Dah.

We came to Dothan to be with my mom on Mother's Day. She and Dad had a baby pool waiting for Mac. He spent about an hour in there playing today!
